This project aims to diagnose and improve performance, optimize value and increase profitability through the design of physical asset management based on ISO 55001:2014 that allows the reduction of risks associated with asset ownership, from unnecessary maintenance costs and inefficiency to accident prevention. In the development of the physical asset management system, the benefits are reflected in the preparation of the strategic plan, defining objectives and indicators necessary to achieve compliance with established growth indicators and expected profitability in the palm oil extraction company OLEORIOS SA. Through the scorecard, the physical asset management department can now analyze and evaluate the operating conditions of the equipment and machinery, and it is expected that the operating costs of corrective maintenance can be reduced by 10%. In addition, carrying out this tool allows the technical staff to know the importance of working with indicators that allow them to measure, control and evaluate their own performance and the performance of maintenance work. For the establishment of the strategies based on ISO 550001:2014, the objectives and indicators proposed with the organization are considered, for which 4 strategies were established, each with a different methodology. In the first initiative, the design and implementation of maintenance activities for critical equipment (boiler, autoclaves, steam distributor, digesters, presses and tricanter) are proposed with technical data that reflect the main characteristics of each machine, through an analysis of stoppages that affect production.
