About the Journal
Social Sciences and Economics, is an academic journal of national and international distribution edited biannually (June and December) by the State Technical University of Quevedo, focused on the publication of original and unpublished articles, written in Spanish, English and Portuguese, which have been delivered by their authors for reproduction. The scientific content is the sole responsibility of the researchers themselves, based on technical arbitration (double-blind modality), guaranteeing the confidentiality and anonymity of authors and referees according to editorial standards.
The journal Social and Economic Sciences is aimed at the national and international academic community, whose purpose is to fulfill the institutional, economic and pedagogical role of promotion and development of knowledge in the area of Social and Economic Sciences, seen from a broad and multidisciplinary perspective. The aim of the Journal is to contribute to the academy through research resulting from processes of analysis, reflection and critical production on the contemporary condition.
Once they have passed the whole process, the scientific articles will be published completely free of charge.
The aim of the journal is to disseminate research results according to UNESCO sub-areas of knowledge: Legal Sciences (5605 and 5699), Economic Sciences (5304), Pedagogical Sciences (5801, 5802 and 5899), Sociological Sciences (6303), Psychological Sciences (6107), Social Communication Sciences (6308), History (5502), Education and Social Work (6310).
The journal has its ISSN 2588 - 0594 for Electronic publication and ISSN 2588 - 0586 in its printed presentation.
