This study investigated the effect of two microbial broths, fish head broth (CCP1) and amino acid fortified broth (CFA2), on the crop yield of peanuts, variety INIAP 380. A randomized complete block experimental design was used with three doses of each broth. Treatment T3 (375 ml of CFA2) increased the height of the plant, T4 (125 ml of CFA2) increased the number of flowers, T2 (250 ml of CCP1) increased germination and T4 (375 ml of CFA2) the weight of the pod improved, resulting in a yield higher than 1.80 tons/ha. T2 (250 ml of CCP1) was the most cost effective. The microbial broths influence the height of the plant, number of flowers, germination and weight of the pod, which highlights its importance to improve the productivity and profitability of the peanut crop. Therefore, it is necessary to continue researching and exploring the potential of microbial broths in the agricultural field.
