Abstract

The general objective of the work is to analyze the constitutional and legal precepts of sustainable tourism in Ecuador. The research is of a bibliographic type with a descriptive level, according to this, the method used is the analytical method. It is justified from four perspectives, namely: from the practical side because transfers from one area to another for different reasons have become customary, from a theoretical justification because the research promotes and generates antecedents in the matter, from the social point of view due to the constant changes in the actions of the subjects participating in the tourist activity, and the methodological contribution that comes with the generation of new knowledge. It is concluded that tourism is a complex phenomenon that touches various economic, cultural, social, legal, environmental perspectives, among others, that merit assuming tourism not as a mere transfer but rather the enrichment of experiences, knowledge and experiences of the people who do it. They carry out, which must comply with respect and care for the areas that constitute a need or tourist attraction, in any case with protection of nature to configure Good Living
