FOCUS AND SCOPE

Ciencia y Tecnología is a scientific journal dedicated to the biannual publication of original and unpublished research written in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. It is open to Ecuadorian and international researchers, educators, and professionals. The journal's objective is to disseminate research results. The journal's areas of interest include: Life Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Earth and Space Sciences, Forestry Sciences, Agrotechnology Sciences, Food Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Livestock Sciences, and Agroeconomic Sciences.

The journal is published by the Quevedo State Technical University with e-ISSN 1390-4043 for electronic publication and ISSN 1390-4051 for print publication. All material submitted to the journal for publication and accepted by the editorial committee for quality and relevance is subject to single-blind peer review by national or international peers of recognized standing, based on their experience in the field of scientific publication.

The journal is governed by ethical standards, guaranteeing authors a transparent, fair, and objective review process for their articles.

We seek to promote collaboration between researchers, professionals, and productive sectors, disseminating scientific studies and advances that contribute to improving efficiency, sustainability, and equity in these sectors, thus strengthening the well-being of societies and preserving the environment.

PUBLISHING FREQUENCY

It is published semiannually, in January and July. Article review time can last between three and four months.
