About the Journal

Ciencia y Tecnología is a scientific journal published and edited every six months by the Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo, open to Ecuadorian and foreign researchers, teachers and professionals. All articles, without exception, are submitted to arbitration through national or international peer reviewers of recognized prestige, for their experience in the field of scientific publication to be evaluated, which is documented by articles published in internationally renowned journals. The evaluators are not members of the Editorial Committee or of the publishing entity or institution. Contributions must be original and unpublished and must not have been sent to another journal for publication. The areas of interest of the journal include: Life Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Earth and Space Sciences, Forestry Sciences, Agrotechnological Sciences, Food Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Livestock Sciences and Agroeconomic Sciences.

The journal has ISSN 1390-4043 for electronic publication and ISSN 1390-4051 in its printed presentation.

Submission of manuscripts to the journal is open all year round. Ciencia y Tecnología does not charge for processing or publishing papers. The management is done directly and exclusively by the editorial team under the auspices of the UTEQ.
