This proposal is focused on Project-Based Learning (PBL) in the teaching-learning process, which is a methodology that will promote the development of critical thinking and skills that will serve as a solution in the School of Basic Education " Despertar ", involving the teacher with (ABP) as an innovative strategy to improve the educational quality of students. The main objective of the proposal is to design strategies for the (PBL) as an innovative method for teaching - learning of students, the applied research was descriptive with a quantitative approach which allowed to collect the data of the institution and carry out the analysis , the applied method was the deductive one, used to determine innovative strategies, the technique used for data collection was a survey directed to the teaching staff, legal representatives and students of the institution, the same as when carrying out an analysis of the most representative questions We can highlight that the following results were evidenced: 50% of the teachers apply the participatory methodology with the students, 36% of the teachers repeat the class when the students do not understand the topic of the subject taught, in the analysis carried out to the students found that there is 74% motivation on the part of the teacher, however argo, there are teachers who continue to use the blackboard to teach classes and finally, 66% of the representatives are happy with the teaching their children are receiving. This shows us that the appropriate methodology is being applied in the learning process.
