The COVID19 pandemic has changed all aspects of daily life, alternating routines, processes and mental schemes. Education, considered the engine of economic growth and social improvement, has been forced to migrate to a virtual learning environment. This is to implement techno-didactic strategies that allow maintaining the continuity of educational processes. In this sense, the present academic work details fundamental aspects that influenced the transition to the new educational reality and establishes recommendations to increase the quality of educational processes in virtual learning environments. It is a documentary research, which is the result of the analysis of contributions from several authors that establish, define and specify the most adequate strategies for the change from face-to-face educational processes to hybrid processes, which in reality bring together several methodological strategies typical of blended and online education. We emphasize that, the aspects of greater influence in the quality of this new educational process lie in the teacher-student-tutor commitment, interactivity and learning resources.
